WD440G Review
Ok, before I type this, I want you to realise that I'm a twenty something bloke in London. I've shared a house with lads and, generally, doing the laundry wasn't our favourite task.We had a budget washer/dryer before. The other boys would pile in laundry which would break the belt after a few minutes. I swear I was changing the belt every other day on the poor thing!
Everything about that washing machine said "you get what you pay for"
When I got this washing machine even "I" was impressed with the results!
Connection and use is an absolute doddle. Just pick a cycle, fill with power/conditioner and press start. 45 minutes later it's done!
It's a condenser dryer, so you don't need an air outlet.
It only needs a cold water connection, so is more economical.
The wash is great. The laundry has never smelt so good!
I was a bit dubious about getting an all in one washer dryer, but I really like this. It was the cheapest I could find, and you get what you pay for they say. There are 2 fast washes, 30oc and 60 oc. There is also a super wash which is handy for really dirty stuff. The 1400 spin is sufficient. This machine is quite clever, in the way it does quick burst tumbles in the wash and rinse cycles. I have guessed this ensures they are forced through the water to ensure good results, and this shows!
The wool programme is nothing like I have seen before - the drum turns quicker for the entire cycle, so that the clothes are secured to the outside of the drum, and get washed by being forced through the water.
